Dub Hut in the Honister Slate Mines

Dub Hut, a shelter maintained by the Mountain Bothies Association, was a much-needed space to stop for half-an-hour. Harriet had run out of energy after a very long morning’s walk that had taken us up and over two huigh passes from Wasdale. Carrying a heavy bag in strong winds and rain can be less than fun at times.
